Meet The Artist: Garnet Millar

My love of stained glass started as a young boy. I had a great uncle that created some very interesting stained glass art. I have been creating stained glass for almost 30 years and fused glass for about 15 years. The glass medium is always changing with new textures and colours. Suncatchers bring colour into a room and fused glass pieces add elegance to your table. I am located in the beautiful town of Vankleek Hill Ontario, where artistry is abound.

Events:

Some of my pieces are at The Arbor Gallery in Vankleek Hill ON and at the Chanail Cultural Centre in Hawkesbury ON. No events planned yet but will post when there is something.
How to Care For Your New Stained Glass

You can clean your pieces carefully with dish soap and water.
To keep the piece shiny you can use turtle wax or any other liquid wax. Put on a small piece of cotton rag and smear wax over the entire piece. Let dry. Buff off with a cotton rag and the piece will stay shiny for a long time.
Things to know about stained glass suncatchers
Always place the rough side (if there is one) of glass on the outside so it will catch more light.
